can i use the stock trans and rear end

well i know it will be kinda stupid to do, but it will be for a few months only untill i get some money to get an automatic and a 9". so the truck is a 94 4.0 5sp 2wd short bed.

the transmission I highly doubt that you can use it
as for the rear end yes, since yours comes with an 8.8 from factory

tranny = NO
rear end = for a while.....then you should upgrade to an Explorer rear end with 31 spline axles...

ok thanks guys.

now for the rear end if i would put a good locker in it would that help at all or should i just get the explorer axel and be done.
