Do yourself a favor and weld up the rear cross-members while you got the bed off, the rivets will allow for frame flex, and welding them in will help prevent it. Also, an idea for mounting your steering rack is to get the lower front cross-member from that 99 truck and try to graft it into the 94 frame. This will give you a good solid place to mount the rack and will help to strengthen the front part of the frame as well. Make Kevin and the boys from Cooper proud! You'll have to take it down there and show it to them after you get it going.

Looks like that motor is coming along nicely, so when did you want me to bring my truck up there for the install?

just curious, what made you go with an 8.8 instead of a 9 in since you're going for big power? Other than availability of course, but would a 9 in be overkill or is the 8.8 pretty good for this amount of power?

Availability, durability, and direct swap into a RBV.........can't get much better than that IMO.

NOT knockin a 9" by any means..........but they are gettin scarce, expensive, and most have a 5 on 5 bolt pattern............

THANKS for the interest!!!
