im doing a 1994 ranger with a 302 and i want to make the p/s work i found a thing that has part numbers but it does not come back. this is where i was getting the numbers from.
all i have is the box on the truck so i need every thing.

the P/S pump from most 80s ford cars will work fine. you should find a reservoir from a ford tompo / topaz 4 cyl should be used because the return line will enter from the back not the bottom as on most others. if the line comes in from the bottom it will hit the steering box. also the best way to find the proper bracket for the pump is to know what the timming cover / water pump and alt. is from. if it is from a after market company than i would consider getting the whole new setup from a 85 - 91 crown vic this would be a 2 belt set up. 1 belt for the ALT. and P/S and 1 belt for AC if equipted. the water pump is very short shaft so it will fit in a confined space. i would also use the single wire harness for the Alt.
