No I didn't type that up clearly. I was saying that if I were running a carburetor it would be as simple as running some rubber hose. But I'm going EFI I will have a high pressure system so I will need something other than rubber hose. I figure that I will need to run some rigid tubing just not sure what I'll need for a fairly stock application.

??? Explain this??????

JoshT 02-10-2006 02:35 PM

Atleast it ain't dusty in between like yours. Ok so I only got 5 years of driving experience, BIG F***IN DEAL. Your driving experience isn't questioned here, so far as I know none of your experience was questioned here. I know people with a lot more driving experience that don't know **** about their motors. I also know people that have done similar swaps, not into a Ranger, but V8 in place of V6 or I4, and also don't know **** about their motors except that they work. I never claimed to be an expert on Fords or Chevys, I will freely admit that I don't know **** about a Chevy except what I said alredy. But mister I'll also tell that you're no expert either or we wouldn't be talking about this right now.

http://community.the-underdogs.org/smiley/misc/bs.gif Yeah run your built 351 aginst a stock motor and it would probably stand aginst them, but run it aginst a 460 or 390 that has ben built the same it wouldn't stand a chance.

If that's exactly what you want congrats to you for having it. Most of us here are interested in swaping in a FORD engine. I know that is what Brenton has expressed that he wants up to this point. So take your 350 and 5 posts and go b**** about elsewhere, or else start providing info that will help Brenton get the 302 that he wants into his truck. So can you get rid of the Superiority Complex and try to help the man out like I'm trying to do.

EDIT: I didn't know that this forum software filtered out $h!t.

xDUKEx 02-10-2006 03:10 PM

josh if the forum software actually filtered out $hit you wouldnt be allowed to post !!!!!!! ahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!!! also figuring out or helping a man out has nothing to do with cutting down another mans work. if you have nothing to say good about something then dont say anything, thats something you need to learn.

JoshT 02-10-2006 03:55 PM

I don't believe that i said you did bad work. I think I said I'm tired of seeing Chevy motors in Fords. Big Diffrence there. You did do good work! Come on man that Ranger's got a freekin 350 in it, not something you see every day. Most people swap a Ford V8 into them, it took some creativity to do the Chevy motor, I like that creativity. Do I like the choice of motor? No, I've seen to many Fords with Chevy motors in them alredy. Do I like the truck? Yes, I love that Gen ranger, and I like any Ranger that has a well done V8 swap. Also it's not that I don't like Chevy motors I do like them in Chevys I like a well built Chevy as much as the next guy, it's just that I also like to keep the blood lines true (IE: Chevy>Chevy & Ford>Ford).

HAHA! Love the sense of humor keep up the good work!
It's HA not ah.

If this "if you have nothing to say good about something then dont say anything, thats something you need to learn." is the way you feel how come I'm the only one you are jumping on. Why not get at Zach he was the first one to say anything negative about it?

JoshT 02-10-2006 06:21 PM

Oh and Paul may I ask you to post a link to more pics of your truck. Particularly the engine bay since it appears to have a kinda stock quality. Infact aside from the one that you alredy know only one thing looks out of place to me, that being the cut core support. The stockness (for lack of a better word) of your engine bay really intrest me as that is the effect that I will be going for with my truck.

One quick question about your truck, namely the suspension. How much did it drop in the front, and what did you have to do, if anything, to bring it back to level?

Damn! Kids stole your hubcaps? Bummer!

JoshT 02-10-2006 08:38 PM

I'm cool with the bike, I really got nothing to do with them anyway. I wouldn't mind having one though mileage would be real nice. When it comes to them I would rather have a custom built trike with a Ford small block. Or one of those Boss Hoggs or what ever they are called factory built with the 350!!

Was that the stock ride height for your truck? If not do you know how much it dropped?

JoshT 02-13-2006 05:47 PM

Well Brenton change of plains for me I won't be going V8. This little 2.8 I got now is just to good to let go. That being said if you still need any help with yours and I'm available let me know.
