Well my sub stopped workin a few months back so I took my box out, so i could actually enjoy reclining my seat. I finally got it up to Innovative Rides where I bought it and left it with them. Turned out I busted a voice coil, so I either buy a new sub or get it re-coned. RE would have to do it themselves, and with the price to ship it there, get it re-coned, and have it shipped back, is $250!

It really sucks I have to spend that much to get my sub working again, but oh well.

 

eh, for that price, u could just go get like 2 12's

 

You must not have heard a RE subwoofer before. I doubt 2 $125 dollar 12 inch subwoofers could match the spl of the single RE 15 inch sub.

$250 to get it repaired isn't too bad. I'm not sure what they go for new, but I'm sure $250 is much better than buying another.

look into fi car audio. they are made by the guy who originally worked for RE pre buyout.

what RE sub do you have? i had a 15" SX and loved it.

 

RE owns..well worth the money..fork it over and get that joker fixed or upgrade to another model
