1998 Ford Ranger 4.0 push rod engine Valve cover gasket replacement.
I have a very clean 98 Ranger XLT 4x4 with a 4.0 push rod engine that has 151,000 miles on it.
The truck runs A#1, but it has a problem,
from what i see, it has a drivers side valve cover gasket leak, its wetting the bell housing/transmission with engine oil
and leaking drops of oil on to my driveway, i would like to replace both gaskets,
" My Question"
Is this a difficult job, and how long should the job take to accomplish, and is there advise i should take in to consideration in order to get it right the first time.
Thank you all.
