i actually built this so i dont lose any clicks. nor any lean. and they're not shallow mounts either. They're just not absolutely huge.

Yeah let me know how that turns out.. Make me feel bad for skipping wood shop in highschool and having to spend a pretty penny on a custom Pioneer Box with shallow mount 10's!!!

looks good, but not a lot of airspace, may not get maximum potential

probably would be a good idea to add some polyfill in the box too

I have some already in the box. I dont know how much is too much, or not enough. I have the box filled with it, but not stuffed.

i built the box to sub specifications, actually a bit smaller, im probably not getting max potential, but thats fine, i can barely focus on anything in my mirrors when the sub hits.

here's the final product. Mind the wires, and the fabric, upholstery is def not my thing. It hides the wood, and glue/screws/silicone, so it works for me.

The box is one whole unit, no "separator" in the middle, i dont know if that affects the sound at all. The armrest flips up no problem, doesnt hit anything, and with the seats all the way back, the sub doesnt hit the seat. very happy with the outcome. if somebody wants a formal "how to" let me know, and i'll do one, so you can fit 2 10's comfortably in your reg cab!

well after reviewing my calculations, i dont have enough airspace for the subs, but in all honesty...the system sounds absolutely amazing. Crisp, clear, loud, and hits deep. I now hate my manual crank windows, the rollers on the cranks wont stop rattling! Will do a formal how to

im quoting myself.

I actually have to move the seat up a bit, i cant comfortably reach my clutch with the seat all the way back. But rest a sure the seat goes all the way back.
