Icon4 2003 Ranger head unit help!!!

I have an old Pioneer DEH-P4600MP head unit that I purchased years ago. I decided I wanted to install it into my '03 Ranger and have been looking everywhere for an adapter that connects the ranger's stock wires to the pioneer's wires...any suggestions where to find them? (best buy used to carry them)

Just go to any audio shop and ask them, they should have it. You can get them on ebay too, just search ranger radio harness adapter.

Actually I did get one from walmart...but it doesn't exactly look like it'd work...i think it was for the "premium sound system" I really don't understand tht.

I bought a Wal-Mart one; model FDK106 "94-up select vehicles." Compatibility list shows "1998-07 RANGER" at bottom of first column and "1995-97 RANGER Premium Sound" at top of 2nd column. I wasn't able to use it though...went to hook up the stereo and noticed the previous installer had just cut the factory harness off, so I used the wire color guide sticky thread and hooked it up the old fashioned way.

Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts, Radio Shack, Walmart, Crutchfield, Bestbuy, kmart.

"Premium Audio" is for the rangers with Factory Pioneer Audio System most rangers do not have this. if they dont have just the regular one don't buy it. it wont work.
