95+ Premium sound system odd question (illumination colors)
OK, I searched, and didn't find a thread that had this question in it, but if I'm not nuts, I'm sure it's been asked before:
I had a 95 Ranger with the premium sound system. The radio, when in the Ranger, I would swear lit up green. I recently put it in my 97 Exploder, which has blue interior illumination, and the radio lights blue now. It seems like there is something to tell the radio which color to use, which would most likely just be that a wire is in a different spot in the harness. I looked at a few wiring diagrams online, and none of them show anything that appears to be it, but I'm sure that this radio lit green in my truck (I no longer have it, so I can not confirm 100% that I'm not imagining this, but I know the interior of the Ranger was green, and I'm sure it would have struck me as odd that the radio was different)
Anyone know anything about this?
