aftermarket stereo installation concerns... 2010 ranger xl. regular cab.

When installing aftermarket stereo to my 2010 ranger is it pretty straight forward following crutchfields instructiions?? Does the dash kit secure to the truck and then the new cd deck slides in the dash kit, is that how it usually goes??? electrical connections are a piece of cake for me I will solder the connections using the wire harness so i dont cut the stock harness... but my main concern is securing the stereo to the truck?? if the new stereo slides and locks in the dash adapter kit then how do you remove it for future access.

I plan on buying everything from crutchfield a kenwood 345 cd deck and the dash kit and all the harnessses and some 6 X 8 speakers... i will welcome all opinions and suggestions on brands, etc....

I am very good at taking stuff apart and putting it back together and at my job I am always fix gamblnig slot machines so I am not scared... I just have never installed a car stereo, but I will tacke it and I am hoping that crutchfield master sheet tells me how to fasten the dash kit..... will I need a back brace??? I just want the aftermarket stereo to be as secure as the stock so it dont move around on the rough streets...

its pretty straight forward just follow the directions from crutchfield
the stereo with the kit i got from crutchfield bolted into the dashmount kit
did your truck come with rear speakers or just grills for them if no speakers you will have to run speaker wire to the back ford ran the wire from the stereo to a plug under the driver seat you will see like like 8 wires going into the plug and 4 coming out the other side the ones that dont come out the other side are for the rear speakers

ive got pics of the plug under the driver seat of my 08 if you need them

The Crutchfield kit worked well enough for me. They didn't have a 2009 data sheet but sent the 2007/8 (not sure which it was) and the wiring was the same. I had to trim the dash piece that pops off to get the install kit to clip to secure properly, but that was the only issue I had.
