aftermarket stereo removal

aftermarket stereo removal

ok iv been searching aound on here and other places but i cant figure out how to remove an aftermarket headunit in my 94 ranger because the head unit doesnt have the two holes on each side the reason is, is because i just got a nicer one and i would rather have that in there

What brand aftermarket deck is it? Every deck I've owned had a set of "keys" to remove it.

you need to find some place like ebay or something similar to get the key that slides into the sides of the deck to pop the pin. You can also try a small screwdriver or piece of metal.

The new head unit you have didnt come with the keys? All aftermarket HU's Ive had all had the same style of keys.

goto any best buy or circuit city around by the install bay if the installers are nice they should be able to help you out and give you a set

once ya break a mounting clip on the adapter... it comes out realll easy... sadly i know this due to jumping the truck and it popping out ha
