Any comments ont his screen would help

Im looking to buy this screen from a member here and i was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about it. Its made by clarion and its the vrx765vd.

Clarion makes good products so i would say go for it. Should be reliable and well equiped.

get a double din headunit. looks better and looks right at home in our dashes. i have the Kenwood with Navi in mine PNAV-6019 is the model

double din as in a flush flat screen? I would but they cost to much. Im getting this one for 375.

there is a panasonic double din and touchscreen on ebay for 400 shipped +/- a few bucks...here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...0199&rd=1&rd=1

im not a big fan of the flat screen, but i didnt think there were any that cheap. Maybe I should do some more searching.

The one thing i like about mine is how sleak it looks and it has a 7in screen. If you know of any other flipouts on ebay under 400 lemme know. I havnt found much myslef.

that same company has the 7" panasonic flip out. the double dins look alot better and dont block your air vents. flip outs look cheap. the blurtooth add on for the panasonic is not bad either.

hmm actually that new double din for 378 is a good deal... may have to research some more. Have untill friday.

Also how good of a company is Clarion, is it better than panosonic?

Actually researchingthe clarion it has more features and seem to be better than the double din.

I have a clarion cd player in my truck and it works great. I have never heard of clarion t'll i went to my aftermarket store and they sold me one there. Mine however doesn't have a flip up screen or plays mp3's

I also think that the flip out screens look kinda tacky... I agree with the guy above and think you should get a flush mount one
