anybody have the Polk Audio db1240DVC sub? do you like it? its on sale right now on crutchfield...thanks

i've heard good things about polk audio, but never actually heard anything of theirs in person

 

I have two Polk MM1040DVC almost too much for the truck, I heard the MM and DB series are very similar. My only suggestion is to buy three or a good amp that is 1 ohm stable. With Two dual voice coils you can wire them for either 4 ohms or 1 ohm. To get the most power into them 3 at 2 ohms is better than 2 at 4 ohms.

 

I had dB 10's, dX 10's & momo 10's. Liked them all. Now I go for ported box sound and I like alpine more for that. I have 2 brand new 10" momo's for sale. Used them only 6 months. (if anyone wants some)
