Anyone have / heard Infinity Kappa's?

I just ordered a set of Infinity 6x8 Kappas (682.7cf) from ebay along with a 4 channel infinity amp.

I only bought one pair of speakers so far, will see how that sounds and if i need it will upgrade the rears as well (currently I just have it faded to the front).

Anyone heard these or have these? they have pretty good reviews online?

I'll let you know how they sound once they come and I get them installed.

I have those and they are excellent speakers! You wont be disappointed. I put them in all 4 doors, but im sure they will still sound good just in the front doors. They hurt your ears before they distort, lol

yea i put infinity components and 3 ways all in my gf cobalt and they are nasty. them alone make it sound like she has an 8" woofer. working on custom glassed 12" boxes, should be done in about 2 weeks.

I just received my ebay order today. Turns out they sent me the Infinity Reference (6882cf) instead of the Kappa's. I got them to pay back the difference in the cost of the speakers as I did not want to go through the hassle of sending them back and having new ones sent out.

I am going to have them installed sometime this month, I will let everyone know what I think once they are in. One thing I know for sure is that I will have enough amp for them.

Thanks for the Replies, I can't wait.

infinity kappa speakers get real brassy/tinny sounding with a lot of highs and hurt my ears like the 3 way pioneers. i like the way the references sound, they dont have as much of a brassy sound.

either way u wont be disappointed.
