back window

back window

is there any way to stop the back window rattle from my sub?

i have a rear sliding window and even when its open it still rattles pretty hard.

any ideas?

I have the same problem. With my 2 15s, my back window flexes like crazy. Im thinking about taking the plastic piece off the back wall and getting some dynamat and put down then screw a piece of 3/4" mdf to the wall and put the plastic back. Im hoping the dynamat and mdf will keep if from flexing quite as much.

i dynomated everything except the drivers side rear door, its def the window, and will a solid one really not rattle?

Not solid glas do soild plexi. That's the beter way with the sub.

If or when my back window falls out, i will b putting a solid back window in which will be plexi glass that is spray painted black.

I have 2 layers of 5% tint on it now and i cant see out of it anyway.

oh ok lol, i use my side mirrors mostly anyway but sometimes its nice when i wheel to see whats behind me.

one of the few things i like about the solid window

however id trade you guys for a silder as long as **** didnt leak after the swap, and it had 5% tint on it.

in my opinion it is at a reasonable level, the level that my speakers can handle without distorting

im tryin to convince my dad to let me do that

jrpro wants too. i just gotta wait till the semester is over and i gotta get a quote on the install, dont need any water in my truck

i did the soundeadening on the rear wall and i went from no rattle to rattle. i hate it. but hey the road noises are gone. i am currently scheming a plan to stop the rattle.
