Do you want PA or weather channels?

I wanted that, it just wouldn't fit where I wanted it to go.

If your worried about size get one of these.

The compact Cobra 19 DX IV

Or if you really want something that takes almost no space check out the Cobra C75.

A cobra cb would do just fine and I would say get a Firestik antenna. That setup usually runs very well for cb communication.

What ever you decide to buy, get your setup tuned and peaked.

I thought the C75 just had all the controls so you could place the CB anywhere its not an actual CB correct.

looks like its a whole CB. that thing is cool. just run the wires through your glove box and store it in there when not using it, or in the center console if you have one.

It does have a control box that you can hide but it is very small compared to most CB's. Basically just a place to connect the power and antenna and if you want external speaker. (Most people gripe about how crappy the built in speaker is and install a external). The CB is pretty much all in the mic.

Just put my cb in today. I bought the cheap cobra, since i am in college lol.

I also put on the firestick antenna, and i pick up tons of frequencies. I also made my own brackets so i could put the whip where i wanted it. Need one more whip though! Someday.....
