I put an alpine f250 amp into my truck today and turned the gain all the way down before I tuned it and then and when i turned the gain up the speakers would crackle with louder music. What do I have to do to get this to stop?

 

Turn down your gain.

 

Make sure the signal wire isnt running next to the power wire

 

Its 2 feet away or so, could that be it? I'll need to go pick up a longer wire then.

 

except for the part about it still happening with the gain all the way down.
