In-dash cd/dvd/gps

I've been wanting to get one of those all in one type deals for a new radio. The ones I've looked at are the Pioneer and Kenwood ones. Does anyone have any experience with these and which one is the best? If it's not Pioneer or Kenwood, please speak up.

Something like these.

If I was you, I would buy a stand alone GPS. I wanted a all-in-one unit but after getting my Tomtom I am glad I didn't. Being able to move the GPS from car to car is great.

Yeah its like an option or an upgrade, my friend has a valor and he got the gps package installed on it.

Yeah mobile gps probably isnt a bad idea. But having the DVD player is always kinda neat if your on a long drive with someone, obviously not yourself lol.

You could probably get a DVD player and a standalone GPS and be cheaper than the Pioneer than I linked. Black friday you can get a ton of GPS for 100 bucks.

I'm finding stuff was cheaper on black friday than today. On sears.com the torque wrenches were 39.99 on Friday and they're on sale still but for 79.99

I sport Valor in my truck and it works like a charm. I use Tom-Tom for my GPS.

I didn't think about that. That's a good point.

Thanks for the other ideas.

I have a pioneer avic F900bt in mine and love it. The navigation is already preloaded onto it so there is no discs or external hard drives. The sound qaulity is great and the blue tooth is nice to since i can finally drive and talk on the phone and not have to worry about shifting, steering and holding a phone at the same time.
It also has a free 3 month subsription to msn direct, which is sweet cause it will tell you the weather forcast, local traffic conditions, gas prices of nearest gas stations, and movie times. Only downfall is that it takes about 30 seconds to load everytime you turn your truck on.

TrePaul told me when he installed his Avic-D3 double din he had to trim the bezel a little bit on the top and bottom, nothing major though.

You have to buy a dash kit, i forget who made it but i bought it from circiut city. You also have to cut the top and bottom lip out of th opening where the head unit goes.

Pioneer - 50W x 4 Apple® iPod®-/Satellite Radio-/HD Radio-Ready In-Dash DVD Deck - AVH-P3200DVD

I got this one for the f150. I didn't want to spend 800+ on it, but it'll do everything I need. Plus I can add a backup camera to it. I wouldn't never get a built in GPS they are very difficult to update and often can be more of a PITA then mobile gps units as far as directions and what not.
