I found this cb for real cheap. I guess id have to get an external speaker. Thanks for the opinions.

yea, those midlands are pretty bad (as in not good). friend has one and it messes up. id buy a cobra.

yup thats what I have, its great, most of the time I can hear people who can't hear me. If you are on a budget, I would spend money on a good antenna like a 6 foot K40 wip or something, and get maybe the $90 cobra over the $140 one.

 

Damn that is too pricey for my blood.... I have an old radio shack cb (10 years old) that used to be hooked to my go kart for kart to kart communitcations... Cost me like 20 or 30 bucks new and it works out great for me.

i got that same cobra from wal mart for 60 not the 90 jc is advertising. and most truck stops will have antenas.
