Icon5 Help with a switched accessory lead

Hello. I am looking for some help regarding switched accessory leads and maybe even remote turn on. My head unit was a Clarion in-dash D V D player, model VS755. It's eject button would not always eject discs. I got tired of this and decided to remove it. Its volume control was provided by a Clarion 7 band equalizer, model EQS746. I had a mobile audio place install it all for me.

Now though, as I can't find a suitable replacement in-dash player, I am going to go without, and just use the equalizer being connected to an auxiliary audio device. Since the equalizer itself doesn't have a power button, the manual states it can be turned on through an accessory lead, possibly through the ignition. It may even be located in/on the harness. But, I see nothing.

I do have a very detailed Wire Diagram book by Ford for this vehicle, and per the attached images I cannot tell how to do this. I've connected everything minus the head unit, turned the key, and the equalizer does not come on. I would like to either have power applied by turning the key to ON or Accessory, or by adding a push button power switch to the dash someplace.

The equalizer has just three connections. One for positive 12 volt, another for remote and another for ground. Between the harness and the equalizer, how can I make use of either a push button switch, or turning the ignition?
