Any Experience With This??

When I get a new HU it's gonna be this one or one that's better all around for the price. This is the only one that accels in every category.

Tell me what you think...

I have a panasonic. I like it alot. It has a great display with the pictures dont give it credit. It is full customizable and you can put anything on there from pics to short video clips that you can make your self. The expandablilty is great too. Mine has the built in eq, subwoofer controls, and alot of great stuff. As for power i have the one that puts out 60 watts of RMS with no amp wiring kit needed. It kicks with some matching speakers in the doors. I would recomend it. And if you get it from crutchfield you get everything you need to put it in. I got friend code if you want it too get $25 bucks off.

The only thing i would do is get the one with the 512 color screen. Buts its 150 bucks more. Check there scratch & dent or outlet department to see if they have either one for a little off the price of the new one. I got alot of stuff from scratch and dent and nothing wrong with them.

How well does it fit in the stock 1.5 din space? Usually installations in fords are pretty clean looking. The HU in my mustang fit perfectly. But there's a ?shroud? around the HU in the ranger.

depends on how much he wants to spend
RE-entry, really cheap, 175rms, 12 will set u back like 75 shipped
SE midgrade over all equal sq and spl, some call this the "to scared to get the SX" sub
600rms, goes 185$shipped for 12
SX-gets real loud sounds as good as most average subs, emphsis on gets loud, 100rms, but really should be 1200, shouldnt be dissapointed with this, 270$shipped
XXX one of the best mixes of sq and spl you can buy, rivals W7, and more but should get louder than these, 32mm 1 way xmax, 1600rms blah blah, dominates the lows
not cheap 420$ shipped for 12 i think dont remember

MT-not for everyday driving really, has no rms, competions only:can take what you throw at it, but usually dont run less than 2500rms for it everyday, no warranty, sq sucks *****, neck and neck with solo X about 485 for a 12 or maybe 510 i doint know

prices are direct from re, if there is a dealer within 50 miles u have to buy from them; it would be more -msrp for XXX is $600+, and direct is 420$

soundsplinter is coming out with a new sub soon might be out now, uses TC's lmt motor, for ulta linearity supposed to sound really good, no price announced yet but i believe 1000rms

or maybe a stereo integrity magnum

ebay :)

well, ive made my mind up, im getting the 955, retail price of 899, im getting it for 500$ with a clarion warranty from www.sounddomain.com
very nice cd player

2nd nicest one they make except the 9255 or something over 1000$
touchscreen, dolpy surround, music catcher lets you record directly onto the HU from a cd you put in by hitting 1 button, blah blah

I just can't find a HU with 24bit DACs for under a grand from a authorized dealer. That's what I really want. And it was a big plus that Alma Gates uses a Pan in the new Bronco.

do you want 1 dac or 2 of them?
because the new clarion i ordered this afternoon has one, got it from cardomain.com for 530$ but its supposed to be 799$, but i love price matching although the lowest they can go is 530$, has 24bit dac
my premier 860 has 24bit dac
i think there is a kenwood with one that is pretty cheap
