got new sub. need foam filling! ideas?

got new sub. need foam filling! ideas?

so i got my new sub...amp...and sealed enclosure this week and im installing it friday! and i wanna know what i should fill the inside with because i heard that makes it sound better. any ideas on the foam to get? and any pointers on instalation? thanks!

in my box i got the poly fill from walmart, it was fairly priced, and just played with it. I ended up not having very much polyfill in my box at all to get the best results. you just have to play with it for a while

your sig says custom box whats that mean? how much air space is gunna be in the box and how much does the sub need?

the box is .625 cubic ft. and my sub needs at least .625 cubic ft. its a truck box that i bought on a ebay store. and it actually looks really good!

The general rule is 1 lb of polyfill (or pillow stuffing as mentinoed earlier) per 1 cubic foot of enclosure volume. If you have .625 cubic feet of enclosure volume, fill the enclosure with 9 or 10 ounces of stuffing.
