ive hooked up my amp to my truck once and did great,well im putting one in my new truck and forgot how to hook it up lol....after getting power from the battery,dont i need another wire somewhere to turn on the amp when i turn on the truck?...what color wire is it?

 

is it the stock radio or aftermarket
it is the REMOTE WIRE from radio to amp
It should be labeled on the harness with your radio if its aftermarket-if its stock im not sure, you may be able to splice into the accessory wire in the harness but im not sure

 

stock stereo from a 1999,im using a inverter
