Help..sub and amp
Ok here goes. I just tryed to install my Planet Audio sub and amp.. Got the power wire to the battery.. Got the ground to the bolt behind my seat.. got the speaker wires hooked up and all ready to go.. I turn it on and got nothing.... Someone help
most of the wires are labled on thise newer cd players pull the cb player out and see if the wire is their on most of the ones ive worked on the remote wire is blue with a white stripe. are you could just find a wire going to the fuse box thats hot when the switch is on that works too
Alright i apperciate everyone.. i got in the truck took the radio out and long and behold there is a wire digram on there.. hooked the remote wire up and its good to go.. thankes everyone..
i had the same problem the first time i put an amp in my truck, whenever i put somethin new in my truck i very rarely read the destructions, i just do it and it usually turns out fine but when i did an amp i did that and seen the spot on the amp for a remote wire and thought i dont want a remote for my amp lol and hooked everything else up and went to turn it on and nothin happened and noticed my amp wasnt even on so it took me a while but i figured it out without the destructions and just had the remote wire hooked up to a togle switch i had in my truck for a while and then got bored and hooked it up to my stereo in the right place
