Find out what kind of wattage it takes and buy an amp.

There is no model number on that sticker? All the sub needs is positive and negative. I'm sure Walmart or an auto store has a cheap amp.

I agree. I wouldnt even waste the time hooking it up. get your deck in and maybe get some new speakers. You can find some good deals on car audio stuff on ebay.

Have you found the model # on the woofer and googled it? If there's no model # take the speaker out and check the back of the speaker.

there should be some red and white RCA jacks on the back of your head unit

run some wires from them to an amp....then from the amp to your "woofer"
or you could just run them straight to the woofer from the head unit using the same plugs

but don't waste you time or money wiring up junk
get something of quality

Well you can bridge the rear outputs from the head unit to run it.

Combine the positive and negative of the two rear outputs and run them to the speaker. It will put more power to the sub so you can actually hear it. Disconnect the speakers that are on it.

It's gonna sound like crap without a crossover though. But I guess it would sound like crap with one too.

Well he just wants to try it out right. It should be fine as long as you don't blast it all the way.

Buy a Wire harness for a Ranger, match the wires and sotter. and a single deck adapter so it fits where your old one was. Then you're going to want like a 400 w amp prob. thats what i ran, used to have a sub just like that
