port speed

port speed

how slow should the air be coming out of my port so i wont hear it
heard it was 17 m/s
.. is that right... any one know what im talkin about?!?!?!
or does it just make you do this

hmm... more importantly, in your sig... what does "wired in series/parralel final resistance 1 ohm" mean?? you've got two different ways of wiring listed, lol. it's one or the other

haha no my subs are double voice coil
wired the coils in series and then the woofers them selfs in series... end result is 1 ohm into one channel of an amp that opperates at one ohm

a larger port will help with reducing port noise

ifigured that .. but i didnt know if there was a certian speed that was ideal.. besides not much

wow!.. ok sooo it totaly blanked everything else out for me except for the frist 2 posts.... and it said it was a day ago.... for about a week lol
