Edit I'd prefer one or two 15" subs, probly one because they are loud as it is. but a decent set of 12's will do also.

get the Kickers......i love my 1 12" L5.....it pounds the crap out of my cab.....i have mine in a sealed box and it rattled the mirror off a month or to ago.....when it is cranked up, i can watch the back window flex......and that is on COUNTRY music! it also has alot to do with what amp you run with it.....the Audiobahn A8000T mono channel 700 RMS amp is perfect for the L5 12....

i think that 1 15" L7 will be WAY too much for a Ranger cab....but that is up to you......if you want to keep your hearing, i wouldn't get that big 15.....get a 12, then you can build a box on the passanger side that way you can still have some storage space on the other side.....

just my $.02

you also should get a dual 4 ohm speaker because there are more amps out on the market that will go to 2 ohms than there are that go to 1 ohm.......besides the amps that are 2 ohm stable are cheaper........

use this wiring diagram to see what i am talking about...

http://www.cardomain.com/shop/woofer...dvc&x=110&y=14

what about this speaker? i got mine from Cardomain, and they WILL beat any price you find on the net, just as long as they can see it.....

http://www.cardomain.com/item/KIC06S12L52 .......it is $249.99....that is a good price for it.....

Love the ideas alot, what will be pushing the sub for now is my rockford fosgate amp here may upgrade, but my upgrade will be to a newer and bigger rockford fosgate amp. These are just awsome amps.

rockford fosgate is good amps....never had any problems out of the 1 i had..........they are a little over priced to me but they are good!

that amp will not be enough power to push a L5....not only under powered, but unless you are running something else off your amp, you don't need a multi channel amp...a mono amp will be best bet for a sub....you WILL need at least 500 watts RMS to push it and make it sound good......i am pushing 700 watts RMS to mine and it sounds great.....Kicker usually under rates their stuff........(PS...buy the 3 year extended warranty on it, it is worth it for $25...)

i can't find a Rockford that will push an L5 good on the websites i look at, but i did find an Audiobahn compared to mine.....it is the newer version......i love my Audiobahn...

check it out.......

FYI i just bought over the weekend a new CVR kicker 12...not the solobaric like you want, just a normal round speaker, ran me 160$....it POUNDS like no other, more than my 2-12's i had in there, you cant go wrong with kicker....

The amps are over priced, but there is on for 199$ its a mono amp that will slam with a solo baric...

Oh yea, at 1st we had my speaker wired at 1 ohm....it rocked...but then i got my new amp and wired it back to 2

ported sounds good, but it takes up A LOT more room than a sealed box.....if you want ported then mine would be good for you since i have all that extra room under the passanger side part of the box.....the passenger side that is like the part were the amp sits.....

CompVX 12" kicker, 12" bassworx box with a vent, Alpine MRD-M605 amp, would be a perfect combo, with 0/1 guage battery cable, that would be more then enough for your truck.

Me being a Rockford Fosgate Freak, I think I'll be in line for this amp. http://www.millionbuy.com/rocp10002.html As long as I bridge the amp, it will give me enough load at 4 ohms which is what i would need. Just spitting out findings and ideas
