I don't personally have one but have heard if your looking for SPL over SQ that the solobaric L5 or L7 hits pretty damn hard. I've also heard that they are crap too.

i have a kicker 12" sub running with a jbl 180 gts amp it pound's hard enough to shake rear view's to the point there useless not a bad sub for cheap money

The reason people have problems with the L5's or L7's is they don't break them in. We get that all the time at our shop. Other than that, if you're looking for a loud sub thats a way to go.

kicker are good sub i have one 10 in my truck it is f*ck load my freind had 2 pioneer in his car i kill it with my kicker lol

you could get the same output of an 12L7 using a 2500 series Digital Design sub. DD is a much better brand and hand built. you could also look into www.ficaraudio.com and look into the SSD and Q series subs. if you are looking for another alternative in its class you could run the Alpine TypeR
