I also got to ambitious as I wanted a bandpass box. Eventually i just made a little tiny sealed one and put it behind my passenger seat. If i need a 3rd seat, they can just sit on the box. I ran out of money to buy a new amp/ sub so i kinda just gave up. My system sounds great for rock, and that's mainly what i listen to anymore, so until i phase back to rap, or start making more money, i'll be happy.

Here's the amp that I got for my sub. You should look for an amp that will do 400 watts rms. Since your sub is a dual voice coil and each coil is 4 ohms, if you wire it correctly you should be able to make the amp be able to see a 2 ohm load. This amp will do 400 watts rme at 2 ohms. Also, this amp is a little cheaper then the one your looking at. I found this amp does well in tight quarters, as far as heat is concernd, from my experience.

Ok as for wiring right now.. Here is a link of how to wire this sub up to get the correct ohms. As of right now I have it wired up just like the "wiring option 2". With that Alpine amp, which way should i wire it?

Thanks Trevor, Im worried about over heating the amp if i put a cover over it and i cant find any better place to put this amp cuz its so big. I wish i could fit it under my seat :(

Well you could always cover it and run it for awhile and see how how it gets by liftin it up and checking...
To give you an idea on mine...
Mine is sandwiched on the back of my box between the back of the box and my seat... and it's pressed up against it firmly and it just gets warm...
Lucky for most new amps they have a thermal relay on the board that will shut the power off to the amp until it reaches a temperature low enough to power the amp back up... then you'll know if it's gotten too hot and you won't fry your amp... That's what I would do...
