My truck blew up

Not really, my head unit just wont play a song for more than 20 seconds before it stops. Old stock one did this, so I punched it to pieces and went and bought a mach radio from a junkyard and it worked awesome for a few weeks and now its dying just like the old one. whats the deal? the cd will spin and play then stop for 30ish seconds then spin and play another few seconds then stop again. when i hit the gas too hard or the brakes or turn too far it stops all together. whats the issue here? thanks and if I dont fix it then I will blow my truck up. littl ethings like this irritate me to no end

It sounds like a wiring issue man. Get a double din. you have to re-wire it to put one of those in, so that'll most likely fix your issue.

Sorry not that much of an audio/electric guy. by double din you mean the small fancy radios with that plastic box under them? and rewire how? by hand or with an adapter pigtail?

Figured it out guys! super easy fix and seems to happen across all car brands. I ended up on an audi forum but it seems when you burn CD's on itunes you can select burn speeds so the "pits" in the disc are deeper or shallower. well i had it on unlimited write speed so the cuts in the disc sucked, i slowed it down to 8X and waalaa it works all the time under any conditions.

Yeah, it'll be in. My parts are here today.

Throwing money at it always works.

That is true, you didn't specify you were using burnt media though.
