I want to put a CB in my truck but know nothing about it. What do I need to buy? Is it something easy to install? Maybe a how to? IF at all possible a list of exactly what I need. I need to order online do to being stationed overseas.
Any help would be appreciated.

 

not an expert on them, but at the least you need the CB obviously, antenna, coax cable and an SWR (standing wave ratio) meter. hooking it all up is easy, tuning the antenna can be tricky, if you google CB info on SWR itll tell you how to tune and get the right SWR, 1:1 is extremely well tuned, 2:1 is probobly what youll get and is good and 3:1 means it isnt tuned right and you can ruin the radio. im sure someone else will know more, but researching is a good start.
