New Sub Company: Fi Car Audio

A very promising upcoming company, i might be selling the MT for 4 Q 12s or 2 BTL 15s

some options for the BTl series:
p chamfer to add more cooling
another cooling option that does something i forgot
add another magnet slug to make it 3 instead of 2
add a high xmax coil from 16mm to 26mm xmax
add teflon coating to gap
add inner heatsink
its 2000rms without any of those ^ aditional options

and the 15 is 379 shipped, which incase you odnt know the RE MT direct were around 500, and these look promising too, no specs on the subs yet, the site was supposed to come out today and it did about an hour ago

https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraud...dex.shopscript

4 lines
X 109$ 10" 300rms
SSD 179$ 10" 800rms
Q 259$ 12" 1000rms
BTL 349 10" 2000

rms is probably underated

side shot of a BTL 12" with 2 slugs, you can add a third

email sales@ficaraudio.com

discussand just found out who the owner of the company is, this company should go places i would think

I guess I have some questions.

1) is there a 10 inch size? RMS?
2) where are these subs made?

there are 4 models the q series dosent have a 10" but the rest do

they are made here in the US, the motors are machined in house

i posted therms beside the price
X is 300rms
SSD is 800rms
Q is 1000rms
and BTL is 2000, but with the upgrades it can probably take alot more

all the sizes use the same motor, so its the same rms for a 10 as a 18"

What do you recommend for amps then? I think 109 each 10" sub is a pretty good price. I'm just not sure if next system i'd rather boost my indoor speakers

im not really sure on these yet

but the X series comes in dual or single 4ohm

so a amp that does around 300ish at 4 ohms or 2 ohms would be good

I was about to say, they look like REs with smaller magnets. That's alot of power on a 10" sub, man! I like the companies that do as much as possible in-house, makes for a much higher quality product. They look good as well, and the price looks even better. I wonder how they measure up in small sealed boxes, though. I was thinking about getting 2 8" subs in fiberglass enclosures, kinda like the one that Rudeman85 made, except one in each side. I doubt i would be able to fit a 10" anyway.

Nice, if I didn't already have a TCAB box, i would jump on it.

I have kinda been thinking about selling my whole setup for something new (re line) but this popped up...I may run 2 12's of the Q...maybe the BTL (only 1 12 though)

The BTL line looks like it's going to be a very promising sub, along with the others... I've known of a couple smaller companies that wanted to expand, but in the end they just flopped. Hopefully Fi can pull things through!!!

Seems like RE to me, since RE was stricly internet/phone.

I definetly want to test it out, but I'm kinda going another route...
