Finally i got my new toy..... a 10" RF Punch stage 2
I'm gonna have to get me a new amp pretty soon the connectors on this sony one if i hit a bump to hard it makes the sub quiter like it's loseing power but sitting still i can drive by walmart and hear the sign on the front of the buliding vibrating.....not bad for one ten :D i'll get pics later today when the clods go away

Can't wait to see the box you build, I've had a helluva time building a box for mine.... I'm using a RF 1001bd amp, the smallest 500W RMS wamp I could find.

i didn't have to bulid a box. i bought a MTX thunderForm box with the MTX 6000A sub and the voice coil in it went to crap so i just put a RF punch 2 in and DANG!!! it's like a whole new system....but i'ma gonna have to get a new amp pretty soon and don't know what kind would puch the P2 better any ideas?

 

sure take the EASY way out..lol JK man. how small is the P2?
the only problem I'm having is where to mount it, I'm gonna end up having to build a custom cetner console in order to fi the amp in it.

If it is the dual 4 ohm version, I would highly reccomend a 500 watt class d amp with a remote gain.

Memphis is my fav, but htere is a lot of nice brand names out there.

Put some polyfill int he enclosure to get a smoother response and better low end

 

ok heres a pic or 2 http://community.webshots.com/s/imag...8aPvkep_ph.jpg My amp took a crap today...and i don't have enuff money for a nother 600Watt amp so i'm shooting for 300 or 250 watts........but what if i went with a mono amp what wattage should i look for.....and yes the box was polly filled and ios all sealed up nicely.... i'm just haveing problems when i turn it up to like 20 the sub pings but i'm sure the voice coil isn't broke in yet so we'll see what happends with that
