New Tunes.

I added photos of my new stereo to 'My Ride' link. I dont have my Sub yet, but I have the amp hooked up and ready to go, just waiting for the sub (will be about 2 weeks). It sounds good with just what i have. Cant really see the new speakers, which is good. I wont be advertising what I have except for when I drive by.

MRP-M350 i think, but I will have to double check tomorrow. I think its a mono amp, but Alpine shows it being a 2 ohm amp and i think mine is a 4. Dont remember and box and instruction book is at work.

Mine might be that. Actaully, I think it is. I wish i had more room in the cab. If i did, I would run an amp for my doors/rear, but it sounds good enough now. Once i get the sub, i dont think I will have to crank it as much. Deck maxes at Volume setting of 35 (from zero), but its freaking majorly loud at 19-21, depending on song and CD.

No, thats not the MRD 301. I can tell because itz not digital. The digital is nice looking, but its a major pain to change settings. The only reason I broke down and bought my V12 MRD 301 is the fact I got it 50% off at circut city. I got a $350 amp for $170 it was only 10 bucks more than yours. I got it when circut city was clearing out their Alpine inventory since they no longer carry it.

How much did you pay for the thunderform? Thats what my thunder 6000 was in. Back when I had a reg cab. Just be careful with your seat back. The pounding from my sub broke the springs in the back of my seat. Plus the surround on the sub has a soft spot in it from where it would rub the seat, but that was my fault cuz I never mounted the box so it would slide fwd into the seat. You guys can look for my thunderform for sale on here come May.

Aye, i was going to buy the one from Ebay, but -

Ebay = 90 day warranty.

Cardomain = 1 year warranty.

I am all about Warranties and the extra 20 bucks was worth it. (20 bucks cause one on Ebay was 234.50 after shipping. Cardomain is 254.96 free shipping)

As for pics, will have to wait till it comes in. Its not shipping from Cardomain until the 1st of Apr. and then i probably still have 5 more days after that.

you will be happy with it. I find that the only thing I get the warranties on is computers.

I have bad luck, so warranties are the only things that guard me from that bad luck.

As for the Thunderform, so the plastic box make it sound bad? thats the only thing i am worried about is the box flexing too much and distorting the bass when it hits.

That box doesn't flex. It is well made. When you look at the back of it you will notice a couple long indents, those are actually internal supports. That box will sound good.
