No power to Stereo

Howdy all!

I've debated finally replacing the stock stereo in my Ranger for too long, so today i finally got started.

While removing the old unit, and splicing the wires i believe my 12v line shorted on to my ground. I heard a faint "pop" and nothing more. I checked all of my fuses and eveyrthing is where it should be. i have power to the everything else, but no power to the normally hot 12v line.

does anyone have any ideas? the sound was almost like that of a power strip resetting. could there be something i'm missing here?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

fuse its the only thing it could be theres not enough going through the load side to blow out the wire so it has to be a fuse check the fuses for continuity not just a visual inspection
