How can I make another Mach mp3 radio that's exactly like my burned out one mount securely if it doesn't have the clips on the side of the body and no holes in the face plate? My truck is a 2003 Ranger. I still have my old face plate and clips from my toasted radio but the used replacement I got has no clips.

The radio you purchased does not belong in your truck, I think from what I read it may go to a Ford Explorer.

Here is a link that shows some information on this.

It's the exact same radio EXCEPT for the mounting brackets on the side. What I'm looking for are ways to try and make it securely fit if anyone has suggestions.

I would be looking to see if the radio's internals could be swapped over.

Normally gutting a radio is not too hard.

However the disk changer may prove to be old and fragile and may not survive the transplant.
