I have found a couple online but nothng I love. I would just build it myself but am in the middle of moving and everything is packed away. Anyone have any suggestion for pre-made boxes for a 10in sub and maybe some pics to go along with it. Btw my truck is a 2dr ext cab. I was looking at a picture of the mdx thunderform for the reg cab and it looked like it might work in a ext cab anyone tried this or know? Thanks alot.

I've always had good luck with the Sub Zero boxes. I've had a couple. I believe that the MTX Thunderform for a regular cab should fit your 2dr extended cab. But at the price for that empty box, you could have had an audio shop build you a box for about the same price, even cheaper.

Thanks guys after looking arround I may just wait and build another box I sold my last box along with my 12 so I may just have to build another one. I did however like this one http://www.supercrewsound.com/shop/detail/11/80.htm but was currious how does the sub sound downfiring like this? I may just have to copy it.

 

This was my first box. It had one 10" sub, an amp, and a 6 disc CD changer. The problem was it fired straight at the passenger seat. All of my passengers complained the "vibrations" became annoying after a bit. Of course most of my passengers were over 60.

I liked the supercrew box because it let me keep my jump seats. Finding a place for the amps and New CD changer were a problem though.


My roommate solved the problem by building this box for me. I had to remove the jump seats, but my grand kids don't fit back there anymore it didn't matter.




Here's the finished box, with amps, 12 disc CD changer and a storage compartment for the extra CD magazines I carry n road trips.



I think the twin 10"s sound GREAT. And no more complaints about vibrations. Unless I really crank it up. In which case the entire cab vibrates. LOL

 

Holy cats, Nick! That looks great! Of course, in the other pics of your truck that I've seen, everything is stripped. Center console looks great too!
