redoing my system.. need help..

I am planning on gettin new subs in the next month. im still not sure if i want to get 1 12 or 2 12's. I dont want it to be really loud. I dont need to be heard from a distance.

i was lookin at infinatly refrence. I heard them at best buy and from what i can tell, they sound pretty damn good.

what would yall recomend?

Limit... nomore than 500 rms. Id like to stay in the 300 rms range tho

thanks!

ive never really heard infinity's in a car ive actually sat dwn and listened to in, ive only nheard them a few times and they never really got that loud, but they sound fairly good, the perfects sound great, and still get decently loud, close to a W6 kinda

how much are you wanting to spend, what type of box, what kind of music, what amp do you have if you do have one, rather be louder or sound better, have good low end?

If you don't want really loud, I'd go with one 12". The JL W3's rms at 300 watts, but run around $250. I have a W3v2 10" in my Explorer, & love it. I'm a big JL fan though. Other brands I'd recommend are Kicker CVR, MTX, or Eclipse(they used to make good subs, not sure now haven't heard them lately)

oh yeah, i also forgot to mention that one of my friends is selling his system...

its 2 W6's in a box with a JL 1000/1 amp. i know they are 2004 models.. i was considering that too.

i thiink i will spend no more than 500 dollars on everything. and i dont have anything right now.

I listen to pretty much everything... rock, rap, country
