Rattle in the cab....

Rattle in the cab....

OK In the ext. part of my cab where the back speakers go i put in some aftermarket speakers a while back...they;ve rattled for aquite a while and i've done little things here and there to try and isolate the rattle buuuut so far no luck..what have yall done to eliminate the rattle if yall have had the same prob. remember: i have an extended cab so it's in the back. has anybody else had this problem?

no problem with mine and i have amped kicker ks series in mine...have your tried dynamat?

well it's the actual speaker...i haven't tried dynomat yet...would that really prevent the rattle? i thought that was only to keep outside noise out...and make it quieter in the cab

maybye the speaker bolts are loose (or one is completely loss) and speaker is hitting the speaker cover. Thats what happened with my truck

i mis understood your question...i got the speaker kit on my doors and it stopped my door panel rattling if that helps, but yea it sounds like your have a screw lose or the plastic cover bolts work out like mine does
