Kicker 07TCVT122 (TCVT122) 2 ohm Comp VT 12" Loaded Subwoofer Box

im getting this and an 800 watt amp and when i get the money im going to do a sub upgrade. this is all going in my 2006 single cab. I would get the 10" enclosure on sonicelectronix if i just knew i could make 1 10" loud and thump hard

kicker amps are the best ive used. the subs suck and id never use them nor have i. i run a soundsplinter RL-i10 sub with a kicker 1000.1 amp in a ported box at .7 CF at 32 hz. its nuts. hopefully going to make a bigger box. maybe like 1.2 CF ported.

im not saying they are the best. they are the best ive had. i paid 250 for a 1000.1 amp that retails for 700. cant beat that price. tested at 1150 RMS.

u could have paid 250 for a AQ 1200d and u would be happier

rangersplash2.3 08-23-2010 01:57 PM

why? i cant turn it up anyways. i have the gain at half and my bass knob at 1\2 and it rattles and shakes everything.

the Answer 08-23-2010 02:47 PM

what sub(s) do u have

rangersplash2.3 08-23-2010 04:59 PM

its one soundsplinter RL-i10. was sealed at .7 CF and i just went ported. sealed i couldnt turn the gain up at all cuz it was choking out. its tuned to 32 hz. going to make a new box soon staying at 32 hz but it will be around 1.2 maybe a little bigger.

Gonna replace the amp with a power acoustik BAMF series amp...They are cheap and seem to hold up well...My buddy has a 5500w pushing 2 CVX 15s (IIRC) and it hasnt skipped a beat in the 6mo/year he has had it.
