l7 10s in a single cab wont fit without a cut throw. MY buddies 91 s10 single cab has 3 l7 12s in it but the box is in the bed and has a whole cut in the cab. He had 1 l7 8 before we cut it and it did ok. BUT all solobarics need airspace, without it you will do nothing but burn voice coils, like he does all the time

Cut the cab and the bed...have a metal box in the bed and slide a wooden box in with the subs behind your seat...very hard to do the first time since your cutting a big rectangle whole in your trucks cab...stick with one l7 8 and get someone to build u a vented box for it and get a 400x1 amp...people will think you have 2 12s i promise...

here's an idea
ok so im not trying to put u down but ur dreaming if you think you can fit 2 l'7s in a single cab. i have two l7's 15" subs in my 2001 ford ranger and my whole back seats are gone,,, my suggestion is that you pull this bad *** trick out... check it out you take the soda holders out in the midlle of your truck and try and make as much space as possible and then you custom build a box to fit in there as deep as you want it then you go buy yourself the sub and amp,,, then you proceed by securing the amp behing the seats so its hard to see and more safe to have then under the seats and run the sub wire to the sub thats sitting in the middle of you and your passenger... i dont kno if you get it or if it sounds crazy but i've seen it done and you would be amazed along with the other people thinking that your truck is all pimped out... also make sure just to buY a sick *** sub and not to go over 12'' CAUSE THEN IT MIGHT NOT FIT..

He might fit above 10s but does not have enough room for the air space of a solobaric...people go for the biggest sub...look at the air space specs on a l7 15...then go to one of the sub box calcu. to figure out how big the box would have to be then see if u can fit it in a single cab... and have you ever seen a company make a box for solobarics for a single cab, cant say i have...nough said

so whats your guys opinion......2 8'' l7s, single 10'' l7 or 10'' cvx

used that as my calculator. any of those speakers fit with adequate air space. im thinking 2 8s. less mounting depth and i can use 2. what ya think?
