Factory Navigation

I've got my hands on a Nav unit that was built in 07 so it's the pioneer avic unit. I'm gonna be working on getting it installed in my ranger this spring if no one buys it from me first.

Since it's a just a drop in unit in quite a few of the new Fords, i've got it posted for sale on a couple of other forums i'm on.

all feedback and comments are appreciated

all of the difficulty will lie in changing over the factory plug on the ranger to the more modern plug required to power up the nav unit. once i get over that barrier i believe it'll be pretty smooth sailing

Shouldn't be too bad if you have the wiring diagrams for both. So you have the plugs that go into the nav unit too?

Then you should be good to go! Could you use an aftermarket stereo wiring harness and attach it to the new nav harness so you don't have to hack up the wiring in the truck?
