getting a new sub if my old one is broken. I have a 12 inch 1.1 sq ft sealed box with a 400 watt alpine amp. I was thinking kicker CVR or alpine R. which of those, or any other sub do you think i should get based on my current set up. thanks

 

i would go to your local stereo store they would be able to tell you what you really needed or how to make it better

 

You should come over and test out my sub. Its a 12 in JBL and i love it, great quality sound.

I'm just trying to be helpful, since i just bought this sub and i really like it, i figured you'd like to actually hear something before you go out and buy one so i was offering to let you put my sub in your box to see if you like it.

ok so i had a Kicker Comp VR and now I replaced it with an alpine type-S. I was gonna get a type-R but my alpine amp only puts out 400 watts. the alpine type-S hits a lot harder than the kicker though
