what color wire

what color wire

does anyone know what color wire the ignition on wire is so i can t-tap into it to hook up a memory wire for my amp? i was hoping to get the subs in this weekend, also i cant find a good place to run my 4g power wire, what did the rest of you guys with systems do? i was hoping on not drilling any holes, but i will as a last resort.

there is a hole in the firewall above and to the left of the brake pedal or clutch if you have a stick...the other ? i cant help ya with though

The amp shouldn't have a memory wire. The only wire besides pos, neg, speaker and rca cables is the turn on wire that should go to the stereo so the amp turns on when you turn on the stereo.

thats the memory wire im refering, i might not be calling it the right name thats just what we have always called it.

but yeah that wire, wich one should i use? should i use the lt.green/purple=12v constant or should i use the yellow/black=12v in on position?

I'm not sure about the color but use the one that is switched so your amp doesn't stay on 24/7 and drain your battery.

yeah i wanna keep the factory 6 dics/mp3 player for now, when i get the money i going to buy the jvc KW-XG700 double DIN receiver like this one http://mobile.jvc.com/product.jsp?mo...hId=148&page=1

i wouldnt imagine it will be very long but i might wait for the new series to come out.
