nothing big. nothing powerful. 300w 2ch. using that amp with that sub will under power that sub a lot. under powering a sub is like starving yourself, its bad to do and bad for it.

im not a big fan of that sub. you can make anything work. heres a website i used to pick my stuff. http://www.crutchfield.com

i prefer kicker and kenwood.
my whole family uses kenwood. and i own a 1000W 2ch kenwood amp.
with 2 12" CVR old school kickers.

another thing to remember is the sub box is KEY!!!!! you need space and too little space will hurt the subs to much space and will over willem the sub. so look up space specs too.

but the newer kickers need BIG amps and ALOT of power. but here are two these i would recommed.
i also prefer 12" over 10".

with this amp

this amp is the same i have in my truck. if your only running one sub, brigde this amp. with your running 2 subs. try this amp

If you have the skills and space to produce/put a Transmission Line in your truck, that would be the best thing to do with that amount of power.

You can, but as was stated previously, the enclosure will allow you to get the most out of what you buy. What do you listen to mostly?

I listen to literally everything. I have a polk shallow mount 10 right now running off of the amp and it sounds good when i play rock, but when i play rap it sounds terrible. I wanted something to hit super hard with my rap and then sound good with like reggae and rock too. but basically im looking for a sub for rap.

If you go T-line, many subs will dig a lot deeper, only problem is that the enclosure can grow REAL quick.

Could do two Sundown e8's ported, maybe two eD e3.6's ported if you can find them, there are two on ebay right now....two eD e3.8's....could also do an eD e3.12 ported

Two of these would be nice (or the 12" version)....

One of these would be solid..

I think your best option with that power is going to be two DD 500 series subwoofers or 1000 series subwoofers honestly.

Lots of quality choices. :)

Audioque is a great sub. Go with it, and you may decide to upgrade the amp at a later date. I wouldn't worry about under powering it, it won't hurt the sub any more than hauling less than the max payload hurts your truck. I.e. not at all.

How about this... Any sub that has a power rating of around 300w. with a high sensitivity 90db+ and is capable of being ran in a ported enclosure. 12" or larger cone surface area, "mainstream" or "forum mainstream", doesn't matter. just don't buy a sub that is rated way above the power you have at hand and expect it to hit any harder then a low power rated sub.
Most of the low end subs that you will find usually possess these quality's. Don't worry about the brand name on the sub. means nothing. specs are what counts.

under powering a sub will not hurt it one bit, as long as the amp is not clipping, then their will be no problem.

and AudioQue makes good stuff, i would run them over kicker any day.

but DC FTW

I'm running a JL XD 200/2 bridged to a JL 8w3v3 in a JL CP108LG box. Amp is under drivers seat and box is behind drivers seat. It's in a 2011 regular cab. Only loose one seat notch which is fine for me at 5' 10" tall.
