my internet was going in and out.. it wasnt done on purpose.. i didnt know it decided to duplicate so many times..

 

I have a set of C but they are a bit older. They sound good for the price.

 

are you amping them or are they just ran off the head unit..

 

I'm running them off of my headunit. My HU puts out more power than most HUs out there. No I'm not looking a the max watts either.

 

i have a old jvc that was in my brothers old 99 ranger.. it says something like 40x4 on the headunit.. what does that represent?

 

That's max power. RMS is probably 20 per channel. Max power only happens during musical peaks and RMS means constant power.

 

so with my hu will those speakers be okay?

 

Yeah they should be fine. If anything they will be underpowered a bit.

 

i didnt look at your options but i just ordered 4 kicker ks680 6x8 the other day. ill have them in next week. i got all 4 for 100 bucks

I put the Pioneer 3 ways in all 4 corners of my 01, along with the DEH-3100 HU. I love the set up. The high's are crisp and clean. Mid's are handled well. A small sub will be going in soon to remove the lows from the speakers. While a sub isn't really necessary, if you just want an upgrade from factory, the addition of it will give me the perfect setup for under $500. Hope this helps.
