What are you using for a Backup camera and mounting location

As the title says.....

Which one are you using?
Do you like it?
How well does it work at night?
Pics?

Where did you mount it?
Pics?

Thanks!

I have seen the camera mounted in the license plate before and it looks cool. Like it you have the number 8 or 0 in your plate you cut a hole and mount it in there.

Isn't there an oem ford emblem that has a camera mounted it it? Like off an F150 or something along those lines?

I use my eyes. They work pretty well. Located in my head.

I do have a 0 in my number plate, something to think about, but then its pretty permanent, hrmmm, then risk getting stopped since the 0 won't look like an 0 so much lol.

I do like those, but don't like the price....I don't need a camera, just a toy at this point since my head deck can accept one, so I was thinking about the $30 or less ones all over eBay. But.......I do like that one lol

Ha! Yeah, nothing replaces turning your head and looking. This is just a novelty, nothing more.

That one is a little better and for $40 more will probably last longer then the Chinese knock offs on ebay.

Dang I missed the orange on the license plate.

Capriman86 10-20-2012 08:52 AM

Not bad, but looks to be pretty low, how much visibility do you have with it under there?

99offroadrngr 10-20-2012 01:42 PM

He had good visibility. Ill look for the picture tonight. It's not really low because the truck is double lifted on 35s lol

Capriman86 10-21-2012 07:08 AM

LOL yeah, that lift will help!!

OH, I saw the FORD emblem camera, cool but way too much coin.

Then found this searching, I could do this as I don't have a trailer hitch, then glue the cover I got for my hitch hole over the washer/nuts as I don't like the looks of the exposed hardware.

I would love to if there was room on our bumper for it, I realized there wasn't space after I posted that last pic, doh
