1995 seats conversion

Post 1995 seats conversion

I have a 1995 Mazda b3000, and I was wondering if there were any bucket seats that are an easy swap. with little to no fabrication needed. I understand that some newer models can swap with explorers but I couldn't find anything about them working for the 95's

Welcome to the forum

Pretty much any Ranger seat will work up to about 2001 or so, that's when they started to weld the mounts to the seats, you can cut off the mounts and drill holes in seat rails to use your 1995 mounts on them
The mounts did change over the years as far as where they bolted down in the back, but you can redrill newer mounts

Explorer seats fit but can be a problem, the backs don't fold forward, its a 4-door so why would they,. this can be a problem in extended cab 2-doors, accessing behind the seats

Also higher back seats in regular cabs won't slide back as far as lower back seats
