Pinstripes (Not the pretty kind)

Well, I decided to checkout a new trail I found after work yesterday. A nice hilly path through the bush leading down towards a swampy area. The trail was pretty tight in places a few of those being thorn bushes leaning out into the trail. I managed to put scratches down both sides of the truck. Most of them are fairly light but there are a lot. All the way down the sides.

So any recommendations on how to get rid of these things? I have more experience detailing boats (Fiberglass) and honestly don’t know what products work well for an automotive application.

With this nice weather I’m going to go back today and try to make it through the whole trail. Better prepared with a couple of machetes.

Scratch-X I think it is Meguires at Walmart. It works wonders...just takes forever to buff off.

I would recommend Meguairs Body Scrub, which is Scratch-X's big brother. It has more of the "stuff" that makes Scratch-X work, and is easier to remove.

stratch X works.. or just wax your whole truck. Use a hand buffer.

Use some Turtle-Wax and try waxing them out, it usually works for me.
