I was unloading stock one day at Advance Auto and grabbed the Black Box without looking at it in a tote, one of the components inside had busted and it was oozing everywhere. It even ate away at the cardboard! As for as staining of shirt and hands, yeah, the stuff is worse than shoe polish... which is what it very well may be.

i have discovered that most of the new products suck. Clay bars are awesome, but very few of the waxes on the market actually work as advertised.

the turtle wax black wax IS a great product, i've used it on my black car before, and it WORKS! the first thing i recommend doing is clay-baring the entire truck/car whatever... and of course, previous to that, you should give your vehicle a very thorough wash with a soap that does NOT have a built in wax

You get what you pay for. It works and it dont turn you or your cloths black. It wont wash of after a few washes. I wash my truck dry it and use a little detail spray and wala it looks like I just waxed it again. I recomend you always clay before you wax. If you dont your just protecting grim and dirt.

If you clay before you wax make sure your using a mild clay. If you use a more aggressive clay you'll ruin your paint after a while.

Does anyone want this Black Box? I have no use for it now.

i think its "turtle wax's" version of meguirs and mother's clay bar systems

i could be mistaken, but i think that the black box is turtle wax's version of meguiars and mother's clay bar system...

i use meguiars clay bar and i love it!!!

when I got my ranger back from the shop they had clay bared the body but forgot to to the windows (had a hair spray like residue), so went by and bought a Mothers Clay bar kit, come to find out there's a special box comes with 2 bars for $19 not bad at all... now my windows look crystal clear!
